No internet = freedom + date night!

3/7/18
I woke up realising that I had no internet connection and seriously realising that I had nothing to do today. It meant that I wasn't able to watch youtube and waste my entire day via relaxing.
However, telstra's fault was actually a blessing in disguise. I've always mentioned that I've wanted to have a digital detox and unsurprising to my character, I have yet to have one, but luckily I was thrusted into one and ended up painting Soot for a couple hours. I am definitely not a painter, as the paints I used were stolen from my brothers room and somehow he lacked white paint. WHO LACKS WHITE PAINT? Regardless I think I should actually take painting up as a hobby because I was surprised at how fun it was, even if my paintings are a little.... Weird.

After a little painting, the internet was back on but I really wanted to see Isle of the Dogs and luckily The Classic has movies for 13 dollars on tuesdays, so David and I headed to the movies.
Honestly, I love going to the Classic cinema so much more than hoyts. Instead of making it all sci fi which the mainstream movies make their atomosphere to be, it was just like a 1980s date to the cinema.

Isle of the Dogs was really amazing. Just like every Wes Anderson movie, the layout of everything was so satistifying, and definitely would recommend for any one who loves a good kids movie.

Post movies, we realised our favourite Mexican place - Mexico city was also in Elsternwick, and as per usual, we grabbed  a large plate of nachos and two too many tacos.

Sometimes I wish I could hold these little date nights in my brain forever to cherish, because they are the small delights which keep you feeling happy and that not everything in life is about your 'purpose'.
